Hey Good Looking

Hello!

I'm here today with other card using fun stuff from the For the Record collection by We R Memory Keepers.

I love talk bubbles of any kind and this Hey Good Looking talk bubble was the perfect element for a card I'm giving to Superman to say welcome home!

I used some We R washi tape (love, love, love this stuff!) on all four edges of the card front then just added some patterned paper and one of the embossed border stickers.  I finished it off with a sticker in the top corner then punched out a heart from the patterned paper and covered it with Crystal Effects from Stampin Up!

Here's a close-up:

It's Your Day!

Hello!

I've been playing a little more with this stamp set:

Designer Typeset photopolymer stamp set by Stampin' Up!

To make this card:

I simply stamped the banner stamp "backwards" first.  Meaning, I inked up the back of the stamp in the different colors (Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Gumball Green, Island Indigo) and then cleaned it off and stamped it the intended way in Chocolate Chip over each colored banner.  It's easy to do when the stamps are clear.  Love it! It looks a little like artsy watercoloring to me.  Then, of course, I stamped the letters and the sentiment in Chocolate Chip as well.  This is a one-layer card that is perfect for mailing to someone on their special day.

For the Record....Brothers

Hello!

I'm popping in today to share a layout I made using the For the Record collection from We R Memory Keepers.

This collection has some great colors and patterns.  Here's the layout:

These are my two handsome nephews who live in a different state than me.  When my sister sent me photos of her boys, I knew I wanted to actually put them on a layout instead of just on the fridge. :)

I love the grid chipboard alphas that come with the collection.  The font is really great!

Here are a couple of close ups:

All the stickers are embossed giving them automatic dimension!

I've got a few more projects to share so check back soon!

Stamp Club...

Hello!

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Mine went way too fast. :)

We had Stamp Club this past week.  I really love this group of ladies.  I love that they enjoy coming to my house and making cards.  I also appreciate how excited they are at the things I choose to have them make.  They make me feel so good. :)  It's also fun to laugh with them.  And laugh we do!

So here's the first card.  It's always great to have "flat" mailable cards in your collection.

We did some paper piecing and some blender pen coloring, using Stazon Ink and this fun new stamp set called Designer Typeset from Stampin' Up!  I love that they're experimenting with photopolymer now!

The other card we did was kind of a freestyle collage card with new Stampin' Up! washi tape and patterned paper.  I am in love with washi tape so I was really happy when they came out with their This and That collection that included this fun crafting product!

And a little close up of the different elements.

Happy Easter

Hello!

Yes, you read that right.  I'm still posting Easter projects.  I don't like it when Easter falls in March.  It really throws me off!

Here are a couple of quick Easter cards I made using my Silhouette and the Simply Spring collection from We R Memory Keepers.

I love LOVE the colors in this collection and I'll be using it a lot more this month so stay tuned!  For the cute little bunny tails, I clipped two roses off of the Flower Trim from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment is from a retired SU! set.  I chose to use Crumb Cake as the card base because I love how the patterned paper bunnies popped off the kraft background.  And speaking of popping off, I mounted them with dimensionals to give them extra presence.
